Remote Certified Inpatient Coder (Flexible AI Training Role)

You will leverage hands-on experience in Inpatient Coding, Inpatient Records, ICD-10, CIC to audit AI-generated solutions, pinpoint reasoning gaps, and construct authoritative reference responses.

Core Project Workflow

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding, ensuring the integrity of record abstraction and data capture.
• Supply detailed, transparent written feedback on coding errors and complex cases to improve model performance.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in Inpatient Coding, Inpatient Records, ICD-10, CIC, CPC, AAPC.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• Review and analyze inpatient medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding in alignment with current guidelines and best practices.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding integrity.
• Identify principal and secondary diagnoses, sequence codes per the Official Guidelines, and assign Present on Admission (POA) indicators.

• Compensation Band: $50 - $70/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
• Available Openings: 50 open positions
• Core Competencies: Inpatient Coding, Inpatient Records, ICD-10, CIC, CPC, AAPC, CPT
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Active certification in one of the following: CIC or CCS, or other coding certification through AHIMA and AAPC (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, COC).
