Remote Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (Flexible AI Training Role)

MegaHired invites qualified professionals to apply for our remote Remote Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (Flexible AI Training Role) opportunity ($50 - $70/hour). You will leverage hands-on experience in ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT to audit AI-generated solutions, pinpoint reasoning gaps, and construct authoritative reference responses.

Core Project Workflow

• Demonstrated professional or academic background in ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Review and analyze inpatient medical records to ensure accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding in alignment with current guidelines and best practices.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding integrity.
• Assess and benchmark model-generated clinical notes and summaries against real-world documentation and coding standards.
• Code model-generated diagnostic and procedural information from the record using ICD and CPT/HCPCS classification systems.

Required Technical & Domain Mastery

• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
• Available Openings: 50 open positions
• Core Competencies: ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Active certification in one of the following: CCS, CIC, COC, RHIA, or RHIT or other coding certification through AHIMA and AAPC.
• ICD-10 coding experience.
• Access to up-to-date official ICD-10 and CPT coding books, as well as E&M guidelines.

Compensation Summary

• Compensation Rate: $50 - $70/hour (contract specialist remuneration)
