Pinnacle AI Evaluation Partners invites qualified professionals to apply for our remote Remote Manufacturing Design Engineer (FreeCAD) — Scientific & Engineering AI (Flexible AI Training Role) opportunity ($40 - $100/hour). You will leverage hands-on experience in FreeCAD, Parametric CAD modeling, Mechanical Design, 3D CAD Modeling to audit AI-generated solutions, pinpoint reasoning gaps, and construct authoritative reference responses.

Core Project Workflow

• Demonstrated professional or academic background in FreeCAD, Parametric CAD modeling, Mechanical Design, 3D CAD Modeling, Assembly Design, Engineering Drawings.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
• High attention to detail when reviewing technical or domain-specific documentation.
• Self-motivated and reliable within an asynchronous remote work environment.
• Create and modify detailed parametric 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies using FreeCAD or comparable software.
• Develop comprehensive engineering drawings, including GD&T and tolerance stack-ups, suitable for manufacturing handoff.
• Design for a variety of manufacturing processes, such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, plastics, and injection molding.

• 2+ years’ experience designing mechanical components for manufacturing environments.
• Expertise in FreeCAD or similar parametric CAD software for advanced modeling, assemblies, and drawing generation.
• Hands-on exposure to sheet metal, CNC, plastics, and injection molding design considerations.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) best practices.
